New format
I've been messing around with the format of this site. I thought I'd try out something a little more slick looking. I'm not a pro at this stuff, so if you have an opinion, let me know. I could just as easily switch back or to something else.

Hey Darren. I really liked the old format, but I think this new design could grow on me. The only problem, visually, is that the text looks a bit weird over the darker portion of the background image, but that's only minor.

Oh, and I should link you soon, eh? And the title of your page always makes me sing that "Refugee" song by Tom Petty, but with "bike" in it... "You don't have to live like a bikerefugee..." Craziness.
Does readability really matter? I'm glad someone mentioned it! I'll test it for a little longer to see if it grows on us.

I find I'm reading your stuff right in the middle (between the road and horizon), and scrolling appropriately, so it's no big deal.
