(No bikes involved)  She heard that there were salmon swimming upstream to spawn. It was a very fun event.  Well organized and amazingly well attended.  I've heard numbers all over the place.  My original guess was 300 people, but everyone seems to disagree.  500 is probably a better guess. It's bright enough to light up the road surface.  I know there are brighter headlights available, but this one is good for a low cost solution, and I like that the batteries last weeks in an LED headlight.
